Ambassador, New Delhi - IHCL SeleQtions

On our first family vacation in New Delhi, we are so glad to have chosen Ambassador. Its great to see these legendary properties under the TAJ umbrella. We had family members tell us about the Ambassador - its legendary old world charm. We loved the large rooms, wooden floors and warm hospitality - from an early check-in to early check-out where Mr Prakash carefully arranged to pack our breakfast for us to save time!!! The housekeeping staff are ARTISTS!!! Vijaylakshmi, Matin, Zaffar, Pradeep Ranjan had a festive surprise for us.. a beautiful flower arrangement on our beds (different in each room) !! As the pool @ the Ambassador was under maintenance, we were offered the use of the pool at the Taj Mahal hotel nearby - A great holiday treat for the kids!! Front desk staff was blessed with welcoming smiles and ready to help. The festive decorations in the lobby really set the mood. Hats off guys - you really made our festive holiday stay bright !!

The courteous, friendly, highly attentive and helpful staff make you feel at home. The hotel itself has an amazing history as narrated by some of the hotel's employees. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and featured a nice balcony. The location is exceptionally convenient, right in the heart of New Delhi access to airport to all important locations. We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality, excellent restaurants, delicious food, great breakfast, wonderful services throughout my stay.

Our room was spacious and the balcony at the front was lovely in the sunshine. Service was excellent and very helpful. We were unaware of Khan Market (short walk) but presume the higher room rate is due to the hotels proximity to this higher end ‘mall’ with western shops and a lively restaurant/bar scene.

Loved the location. The warmth of the team. The whole team was very hospitable and welcoming. Even the back end team had met us, and it was very nice to put a face to the team who gets it all together and functioning smoothly. Housekeeping team with Mr Ram and manager Laxmi had come personally to collect feedback and were very comforting. Loved the real retro vibes to the whole place. Has all the conveniences of a good hotel. Breakfast has a wide selection and is very generous. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms, plus balconies, all facing an interior courtyard so they get plenty of light. Beds are comfy and linen is good quality. Kettles and fridges in the rooms. I’d stay here repeatedly.
