The staff at the reception desk were exceptional at checking me in , sorting out taxis for me and advising me on sight seeeing . Aakash , the Duty Manager helped to organise my trip to The Taj Mahal and the train journey for all my family to the Punjab. He regularly updated me on what’s app and was able to book two further days for me and my son for our return to Delhi at the hotel . Nothing was too much trouble for him and he always assisted me on any of our needs and requests promptly . He is a credit to the hotel ! We loved the location of the hotel , the personal attention we received from all the staff from the porters , door staff , room attendants and restaurant staff in The Yellow Brick Road . The food at breakfast was amazing and I really enjoyed the outdoor seating area . We dined here for lunch and some evening meals . We loved the location of the hotel which is close to India Gate , our 1st sightseeing visit and the smaller size of the hotel which although could be busy at times , was always pleasant and never over bearing . The rooms we stayed in were very large and regularly checked on by the service staff . Extra water , towels and other toiletries were provided on request and we had the option to have the room made up again if needed . Having a balcony and view of the garden was also very relaxing . We all felt well looked after and safe at the hotel .

My greatest happiness is to see so many nice people in the hotel starting with the kitchen manager Mr. Praka SH. Bhagwal with an outstanding breakfast; Mr. Bhup Singh who always left the room lacking for nothing; to the front desk manager who treated us with professionalism and to the lady who was at the door attending to the guests who came in and out. I think her name is Pujah, her attention leaves anyone more than grateful. She was sure that we were in good hands with the taxi drivers, very friendly and professional. The hotel is in a quiet area and close to the monuments and two minutes from the metro and the Khan Market with my favorite Starbucks and all kinds of food and different shops. The Hotel is highly recommended, if I return to New Delhi I would use it again 100%.

Do yourself a favour and come stay at The Ambassador, New Delhi. A hotel with reputation. Great location. Wonderful Heritage Decor. Beautiful Collection of Paintings. Comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Very nice, attentive and caring staffs, especially Mr Sandeep & Mr Nural. Excellent food with various options prepared by Chef Sanjay Arya and his team at the Yellow Brick Road Restaurant. Overall, we had a great time here. I strongly recommend this hotel.

The food was very nice. Some days Prakash arranged for some special dishes. Dev's masala chai prepared freshly gave a nice punch in the morning. Service given by the staff in the restaurant Apoorva, Uma, Chirni & Udit as well as Laxmi who gave me a nice feel of local style facial treatments with aroma was excellent. My room was kept clean every day and liked it a lot. Staff at the reception were very good and attended to our requests really fast.

It was conveniently located for us as it was close to India Habitat where I had a business conference, as well as good for the family due to proximity of important sites in Delhi. The staff, room, food, service etc. was pretty good. The hotel has a old world vibe and has has some beautiful paintings on display. You will love it if you want to feel nostalgic.
